About the Founder
Hi, I’m Robin. I’ve always loved crafty hobbies, and after years of exploring knitting, macramé, painting, beading (and more!), I’ve finally found my creative home in hand embroidery.
By profession, I’m a community-minded, clinical social worker with 25 years of experience. My work has always involved a kind of needlework — helping people understand the emotional threads that shape their lives, or guiding them in weaving their sense of self back together.
Embroidery feels like a natural extension of that rhythm. As I launch Hoop Collective, I’m excited to help build a space where stitchers of all kinds can come together — to learn, to share, and to celebrate the slow, mindful beauty of hand embroidery.
